A new communications approach to educate potential patients

CoolSculpting®, an innovative treatment in the body contouring industry from Allergan Aesthetics, was seeking to reignite consumer interest in its product after launching nearly a decade ago. Despite the science and reputation behind the treatment, consumers were uncertain about the treatment process and results they could expect to achieve.

CoolSculpting® wanted to explore new communications approaches to educate potential patients to overcome barriers to treatment.

DIGITAL COMMUNICATIONS STRATEGY

Reinvigorating the brand

We set out to reinvigorate the brand and give consumers the confidence that CoolSculpting® is the right choice for their body contouring needs. As partner to CoolSculpting®, we began by building a full digital communications strategy for its owned and shared channels. We sought to understand the challenges it faced in the landscape, how its audiences experienced the brand, and how it could uniquely position itself as one part of a health-focused lifestyle.

DIGITAL MARKETING

Building brand trust

We used this strategy to reestablish the brand in a class of its own through digital content that was as educational as it was inspiring. This approach manifested in a range of new solutions, from organic social media to creative concepting for seasonal promotions.

At the core of our approach was building brand trust with consumers through a more holistic approach to digital communications. Through these consistent and compelling touchpoints, CoolSculpting® has sought to change consumers’ perceptions, deepen relationships with patients and providers, and stake its claim as the leader in the body contouring market.

Our partnership with Long Dash helped us strengthen our digital presence while producing tangible results. Through Long Dash, we implemented changes to our website to improve SEO, upgrade our social media content and increase the cadence of our posts, and make data-driven decisions affecting other aspects of our digital presence.
